What’s your Achilles’ Heel and how do you manage it? I attended two Leadership speakers’ events in one day. At 7:30 a.m. we talked about identifying what our own Achilles’ Heel is. Mine, as a ‘solopreneur’ is not knowing at the end of the day, whether I’ve had a good or successful day or not. Drew Dudley, the evening speaker suggested we ask ourselves, “Have I created value for someone today? Absolutely! Now, at the end of the day, I think about all the lives I’ve touched and added value to. It works and really makes ME feel good! What’s your Achilles’ Heel and how do you manage it?

Remembrance Day causes us to stop and think about many things. It also reminds us to appreciate the good things in our lives.

I attended the Better Business Bureau’s Business Integrity Awards this week. The keynote speaker was Andy Spriet. Andy talked about some of his successes, but what really resonated with me and hit home was when he talked about ‘people’. He said he’s surrounded himself with really good people as his businesses grew. The words he used were “honesty, integrity, and morality”. I strive to have those kinds of relationships with the people in my life. I hope to be like Andy, when I grow up.
